Felt very humbled to be nominated alongside this girl – Katrina Keshishian, Cosmo’s Game changer of the year winner. Katrina is a Campaigner for rape victim compensation – what a legend. Huge inspiration that you can go through hell and come out the other side strong, fearless and courageous. Congratulations Katrina ! Xx
This is Kayla Itsines. In case you don’t already know her – she has started a huge international women’s fitness movement and I follow her training guides. Why? Because she ALSO HAS ENDO! Kayla now has about 6 million followers or something ridiculous. She won Cosmo’s ‘Woman of the Year’. Congratulations Kayla!
DELTA GOODREM! Gosh she is an angel. Genuinely so so sweet.
My gorgeous best friend slash plus 1 – Georgia!
Melbourne Cup winner Michelle Payne and Paralympic swimming Champion Ellie Cole. AMAZING WOMEN!
Wow! Not only am I so grateful for all the hard work you (and your gorgeous mum!) do for all us endo sisters, but daymn gurl- reppin’ for us WHILE somehow looking SO fucking amazing too – not only were you one of the biggest spunks there, but by being such a stunner, you also (inadvertently?) showed everyone that, despite our often debilitating illness, we STILL look like “normal” people! If not like a superstar, in your case!! Just another much-needed message to spread – bonus!
I’m sure I speak on behalf of all us endo sick-chicks, chronic babes and sadly, the *many* of us who simply don’t have the strength, ability or good health, (as well, like me, the guts, courage and balls of freakin’ steel!), that you have, that we are forever grateful to you and your awesome work, spreading awareness of endometriosis to the world!
Thank you so, SO much Syl! You’re always a winner in our eyes! Keep up the good work!

Ahh Kirsty I’m on the verge of a few tears over here. I read this a while ago but have taken a semi quasi break from social media etc for the past 2 weeks. What an amazing compliment. I’m so so flattered and touched. It’s funny how others perceive you and to read your comment is surprising to me in so many ways because while I am totally confident talking about Endo and pushing to raise awareness, I certainly do not have balls of steel at all times or with regards to other things. Ever since the new year ticked over I have been having massive ‘beginning of the year anxiety’ which I often get at the start of the year and frequently get regular anxiety throughout the rest of the year where I just stress about literally everything you could stress about in life, a job, career, money, travel, future family, fertility (omg the list goes on!) and wonder how I’ll attain any of those things whilst being happy and healthy at the same time. I am a mere human being who certainly doesn’t feel like she has her shit together and nut-sack armour on – even though it may look like I do from the outside. 🙂 nevertheless, I thank you for your kind words because they made me feel so good re-reading them just now whilst in the middle of an anxiety squeeze. So thank you and you are welcome. It’s a pleasure and I love doing what we do for EndoActive. hope you’re well darling! xxx Syl
