Week 4 training

Week 4 training

Sooo I’m up to Week 4 of @kayla_itsines training guide. Hard to tell if I look that different and no idea if I’ve lost weight because I don’t weigh myself. Chucked my scales out 2 years ago. Don’t really care about a number on a screen (anymore. I did when I was younger and it was dangerously addictive, damaging and incredibly consuming). But I feel so much stronger, healthier, energised and most amazingly – I seem to be in Endo pain remission.

For the past month, I’ve been training regularly, incredibly busy and happy and satisfied with EndoActive work 24/7 and have not been taking the pill (in preparation for egg freezing). I’m in pain today from all the hormone injections making my ovaries swollen and full of follicles so my belly’s not looking quite like this (this photo was earlier this week) but I’ve gotta say, my normal pain has decreased dramatically.

This is the best I’ve felt in such a long time and I truly believe it’s a combination of:

having something you’re passionate about that gets you going (the Japanese call this your Ikigai)
training regularly
clean eating

more sleep. relaxing more.

listening to guided meditation at night
a LOT less alcohol
coming off the pill (weirdly as this is supposed to HELP with Endo pain)

A natural balancing of hormones and boost of serotonin thanks to all of these things combined.

Thrilled to bits with this training guide! 1 month down, 2 to go. x
